Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood writer and actress that has won critical acclaim for her talents. Sagittarius is her birth name, and she was born at the state of North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She's the eldest child from Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper as well as Anne an undergraduate student in psychology. Her parents are English, Scottish and of mixed descent. In the course of her father's employment, the Moore family often relocated and she was unable to form relationships or keep them. Moore was in the class of Frankfurt American High School in Germany as her parents moved to the United States. Moore began her career on stage. In 1983 she received the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Boston University. in Theater. Moore made the move to New York after graduating and started her professional career in off-broadway theatre. This show lasted until 1988, and she won the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she made her debut as an actress on Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. In the following years, she described it as the film with a small budget. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), and 3 Women, also productions from Altman (1997) were among her films. The former was critically acclaimed and earned her a number of nominations for the film. Moore got her first role as a lead on the screen in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to portray the role of the protagonist in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The film was among the most watched films of during the time. She was awarded an SAG nomination in 1999 for her role she performed in Magnolia which was a highly praised film. The Hours, a 2002 film she costarred in with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep was nominated for nine Academy Awards. Moore was also in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) and many other films. She appeared in Non-Stop (2014). Moore was in a variety of films and shows. Moore's most recent role as an actress in a major role is in the film When You Finish saving the World (2022). She's established herself in Hollywood and is a successful children's book author. The first novel she wrote Freckleface Strawberry was published in 2007 and became one of the bestsellers on The New York Times. The book was a huge best seller, and was later adapted to a television series along with a musical. She also published My Mom is a foreigner in 2013. Moore being a accomplished author and actor she has also made her private life known to the world. She was married John Robin in 1984 and the couple divorced in 1995. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore later married in 2003, is a father of two with Moore. Moore's primary focus is on her family, friends and her work.
