Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the U.S. for more than ten decades. She was part of and was captain of both the US Olympic Women's Gymnastics Team Fierce Five (2012) and Final Five (2016). In the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold on both the team floor and the individual events. Bronze was taken through the balance bar. In 2012 she was the very first American athlete to win the most number of medals in the Olympics. The gold medal was hers in the team competition during the 2016 Olympics, which also made her and Gabby Douglas first Americans to win back-to-back golds. Silver medals were awarded in the individual floor and all-around event. She took a three-year break between the two Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. Her gold medal winning American team also won the two World Championships. She learned gymnastics from the age of 2 and her most loved activity is Floor Exercise. Aly donates towards the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. She is planning to create a profession from fashion. It is also her dream to increase the length of her leotards and socks. Fierce is a novel she plans to release later in the year.
